About the course:

The eight-week MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) training is the best-known and most scientifically researched program for developing life satisfaction, inner peace, and balance through training in attention, self-awareness, and empathy.

The course is intended primarily for teachers and takes into account the specifics of this profession. In the Czech Republic, it is a unique eight-week mindfulness course focused specifically on the teaching profession.

Part of a teacher's job is daily communication with students, parents, colleagues or school management, which can be very intense, emotionally demanding and stressful. In the course, we systematically build skills that are an antidote to a long-term feeling of exhaustion and lack of enthusiasm for life.

Scientific studies have repeatedly confirmed that just eight weeks of training these skills leads to demonstrable changes at the level of the nervous system, thanks to which we are able to respond appropriately to stressful stimuli, thus improving our psychological well-being and physical health.

The course can be paid for from DVPP funds.
