About the event
Workshop for educators: Know your emotions so they don't cause illness
This workshop offers teachers a unique opportunity to "transform" into students and gain a practical understanding of supporting emotional literacy from the perspective of the participant. We will guide you through a workshop focused on supporting emotional well-being, stress management, and developing self-awareness, which we routinely run for children and youth.
At the end of the workshop there will be time for questions, sharing experiences and getting practical tips on how you can use the knowledge gained to support the emotional health of your students. You will get useful tips on how to apply mindfulness in your work with children and how to make the most of it.
actively impart tools for regulating emotions and enhancing mental well-being in the school environment.

During the workshop, teachers (in the role of children) will learn and experience:
They will become familiar with concepts related to the body, brain, attention, breath, and emotions.
They will try practical activities focused on self-awareness and the ability to self-regulate.
They will discover what relaxation means and how to develop kindness towards themselves and others.
Workshop participants will learn ways to teach children about emotional literacy and how to help them develop skills for effective stress and emotion management. This workshop is ideal for teachers who want to deepen their understanding of emotions and stress and then apply these skills in their work with children.
